Fees at our clinic are governed by the professional and experienced level of psychological treatment we practice.
Consultation fees vary. Our clinic is not governed by Medicare initiatives that have separated skill and expertise into clinical and generalist/counselling categories. This is because there is NO evidence or research to suggest the labeling of a psychologist by this new medicare system has any efficacy on real treatment outcomes, knowledge, experience and professionalism of a psychologist.
As such the gap payment remains the same for a clinical or a generalist/ counselling psychologist.
A consultation fee with our range of specialists will differ depending on the therapist, referral or treatment you are receiving. The Australian Psychological Society recommends a 50 minute session fee of $286.00.
Our fees are often determined by the client’s individual financial situation but as a guide you should expect to pay between $135.00 and $286.00 for a fifty-minute session.
After hour appointments are available but charge a flat higher fee.
We do offer healthcare card concessions and bulk billing but are restricted in these services.
Reports, assessments or testing incur varying fees depending on the type and time needed.
The clinic works hard at keeping the consultation fees as low as possible. This cost includes any handouts, case management and treatment plans, phone calls etc needed to ensure your therapy is successful.
The consultants are happy to discuss your financial concerns at all times and endeavor to make professional, high quality psychological care affordable.
